Healthcare Coalition Readiness & Response Coordination
We are proud to work with the Wyoming Region 1 Healthcare Coalition (R1HCC), an organization that enhances healthcare coordination and emergency preparedness in the northeast Wyoming region. We provide comprehensive management services, supporting the coordination efforts and bringing together diverse stakeholders to enhance the healthcare system’s resilience and response capabilities.
During our tenure as the R1HCC coordinator, we worked closely with the Wyoming Department of Health and various stakeholders to establish the R1HCC as a robust and effective platform for healthcare coordination. Our dedicated team actively facilitated the day-to-day operations, providing essential support and guidance to ensure smooth collaboration and information sharing among healthcare providers, emergency responders, and community organizations.
As the R1HCC evolved and matured, we guided the coalition through a significant transition: establishing the coalition as an independent nonprofit organization. Leveraging our expertise in project management and organizational development, we provided strategic guidance and facilitated a smooth transition process while respecting the vital role and authority of the R1HCC Board of Directors.
Since the transition, Infield Vector has continued to provide management services to the R1HCC, ensuring the coalition operates smoothly and efficiently. By offering ongoing support and expertise, we assist the Board of Directors in executing their strategic vision and enable the coalition to fulfill its mission of enhancing healthcare resilience and preparedness in northeast Wyoming.
We take great pride in our longstanding partnership with the R1HCC and remain committed to working hand in hand with the coalition, providing comprehensive management services and supporting their objectives. Together, we drive positive change, foster collaboration, and ensure the region’s healthcare system is well-equipped to handle both routine challenges and unexpected emergencies.
Rural Veterans Health Access Program
We played a critical role in the Rural Veterans Health Access Program (RVHAP), a transformative initiative led by the Wyoming Department of Health to improve healthcare access and outcomes for rural veterans in the state. Over the course of a comprehensive three-year project, we delivered results that have significantly impacted the lives of rural veterans and their families.
The first phase of our work involved conducting primary research, which included in-person focus groups and interviews with veterans across Wyoming. These invaluable interactions allowed us to gain deep insights into the unique healthcare challenges rural veterans face. Armed with this firsthand knowledge, we moved on to the second stage of the project: analyzing the collected data and synthesizing our findings into a report on the state of rural veterans’ healthcare in Wyoming. This report was a powerful tool forhealthcare providers and other stakeholders to understand the gaps and opportunities for improvement within the healthcare system.
In the final stage of the RVHAP, we developed a toolkit designed for healthcare providers in Wyoming who wanted to enhance their ability to deliver high-quality care to rural veterans. This toolkit, informed by our research and industry best practices, equipped providers with the necessary resources, guidance, and strategies to effectively address the unique healthcare needs of this population. By empowering healthcare professionals across the state, we fostered an environment of increased awareness, competence, and collaboration to improve the overall health outcomes of rural veterans in Wyoming.
The Rural Veterans Health Access Program delivered concrete deliverables and made a lasting impact on the healthcare landscape for rural veterans. Our efforts fostered a culture of understanding, support, and innovation to ensure that the brave men and women who have served our country receive the quality care they deserve, regardless of their geographical location.
State Opioid Response Coordination
As the Wyoming State Opioid Response (SOR) Coordinator, our primary objective was to coordinate and facilitate comprehensive efforts to address the opioid crisis across the state. One of our significant accomplishments was the creation of the Wyoming Opioid Dollars Tracking System (WYODOTS). This web-based database centralized information on federal funds allocated to combat the opioid epidemic in Wyoming. Before we created WYODOTS, there was no centralized location to track and analyze the extensive funding sources and projects dedicated to addressing the opioid crisis in Wyoming.
Through extensive research, we meticulously identified and compiled data on nearly $18 million in federal funds across 15 different projects spanning four years. The WYODOTS database provided state officials with a resource to review, assess, and gain insights into the scope and impact of efforts undertaken to combat the opioid epidemic. Its user-friendly interface allowed for efficient monitoring, evaluation, and reporting on the extensive initiatives in Wyoming.
By developing the WYODOTS database, we demonstrated our commitment to data-driven decision-making and our ability to leverage technology for effective program management. This initiative provided transparency and accountability in the allocation of federal funds and served as a valuable tool in shaping and refining future strategies to combat the opioid crisis in Wyoming.

Infield Vector holds the contract to serve as the Wyoming Statewide Lead Advisory Committee (WYLAC) coordinator, aimed at preventing childhood lead exposure in the state. Our efforts center around guiding the strategic planning process, bringing together stakeholders from various sectors to develop a comprehensive action plan.
